SUKU SPACE
About us

suku space
is here

In Indonesian language, SUKU means "Tribe". In Japanese, SUKUU means "to help". We are a showroom, a café and a membership programme for Indonesian SMEs entering the Japanese market.

BACKGROUND

why we are here

There are many Indonesian SMEs eager to enter Japanese market. However, it is hard for them to get information and guidance about how to sell their products in Japan. Some brands managed to exhibit their products, but face problems when communicating with potential Japanese buyers.

We hope to solve those problems through SUKUSPACE. We want to provide space and support for handicraft products made by artisans and tribes across Indonesia, and to handle the part that is hard to do from Jakarta: storage, buyers, pop-ups, paperwork and press.
